Privacy Policy

We store your name, email, optional phone number, order details and the UPI reference you submit. We use Google Analytics and advertising measurement tags from Google and OpenAI to understand visits and measure which ads lead to orders. We do not sell or share your data for marketing.

What we collect, and why

Name and email — to identify your order and send you the download link. Required.

Phone number — optional, used only to contact you about your order.

Order details — the instruments, date range, price and status of what you bought, so you can re-download and so we can support you later.

UPI transaction reference (UTR) — submitted by you to let us match your payment against the bank record. It is a payment reference, not payment credentials.

Server logs — standard web request logs, including IP address, kept for operational security and abuse prevention.

Advertising measurement (OpenAI)

We use the OpenAI (ChatGPT) Ads measurement pixel on this site. When you arrive from an ad in ChatGPT, it sets first-party cookies (__oppref for 30 days and __obref for up to 365 days) so we can tell whether that ad led to an order. When an order is paid, our server sends OpenAI the order value, a click reference, your IP address and browser type, and a one-way (SHA-256) hash of your email and phone number. We never send your raw email or phone number. OpenAI uses this to measure our ads. Email support@optionsdata.shop if you would like us to exclude your order.

What we do not do

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, in aggregate. We do not run retargeting, and we do not sell visitor data.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

We never see or store your bank credentials, card details or UPI PIN. Payment happens in your own UPI app; we only ever receive the reference number you choose to submit.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept indefinitely so that you can request a re-download of something you paid for years later, and so that we have a record of what was licensed to whom. Server access logs are rotated automatically and only the most recent files are kept.

Your rights

Email us and we will tell you exactly what is held about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it. Deleting your order record means we can no longer re-issue a download link for that purchase, so we will confirm before doing it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Downloads are issued as time-limited links rather than public URLs. Admin access is password-protected. This is a small operation and it is described honestly: it is competently run, not independently audited.
